Bel­la Swan (Kris­ten Stew­art) is dev­as­tat­ed by the abrupt de­par­ture of her vam­pire love, Ed­ward Cullen (Robert Pat­tin­son) but her spir­it is rekin­dled by her grow­ing friend­ship with the ir­re­sistible Ja­cob Black (Tay­lor Laut­ner).
